Background:
Priorswood County Primary School is a co-educational day school for pupils aged between four and 11. The main buildings, substantially built, are in two sections. The main block consists of five classrooms, each with its own cloakroom; an assembly hall, which is, used for PE and school meals, a resource/library room, a television/quiet room and the boys and girls toilets. The school is very well equipped for a well-balanced modern education. It is the aim of the school that all children are involved in sport through the weekly PE sessions. A wide range of after-school clubs, which from time to time will change, are arranged for those junior children who wish to participate. At Priorswood its aim is to provide a school where everyone can value themselves and their work while valuing the achievements of others.
