Background:
Founded in 1839, this small village school has spacious grounds with football pitch, copse, pond and conservation area. Accommodation consists of a hall and five purpose-built classrooms. It has strong links with the village and local church. In addition the school offers extra-curricular clubs for Key Stage 2 pupils, including two residential visits abroad for Years 5 and 6. Community involvement is strong including support for village charities which the older children nominate and organise events through the year. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith.
