Background:

Court-de-Wyck Church of England is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. The original school was pulled down in 1861 and the second school was built in Plunder Street. In 1943 the school became a primary school. In 1972 the old school at Cleeve closed and the current Court-de-Wyck school was opened on land, which has originally belonged to the old Court-de-Wyck estate. It has excellent facilities with a new ICT and music suite. A wide range of extra-curricular clubs are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include soccer, netball, football, recorders, computing and performing arts. The school aims to provide a safe environment in which every child is valued and where a stimulating learning experience provides an education of the highest quality.
