St Mark's is a learning community where achievement is the driving force behind every aspect of the life of the school. The school has a library, which is staffed by a part-time librarian. The library is available to the whole school. All departments are encouraged to use its facilities, which include CD ROM reference provision. The school has a well-equipped music room, separate drum room, and a drama room. The music room is equipped with modern keyboards, computers and acoustic instruments. At GCSE the students submit a composition of their own as part of their assessment. This school has a friendly, relaxed learning environment.
